Mosaic and Collage Art
My work is inspired chance, irreverent stories and spontaneity similar to the Dada Art of the early 20th century. This was an Central European movement based in Zurich, Berlin and Paris where artists used collage and montages to cock a snook at the art establishment. I use a range of different materials in my work including paper, cardboard, clay, glass, and found items such as seaglass and beads. I am not interested in making craft but in creating colour and movement and humour.
